Kanechiwa!
My formative years were influenced by growing up in a very conservative, very fundamentalist religious family. Most of my education came from Adventist schools. I interrupted my college career in the middle of my soft more year in order to take advantage of life. After Bob & I moved with the business to Tahoe, I finished college here at SNC. My senior project for my psychology degree was a paper on Life Skills.
I remain convinced that kids miss out by not being taught skills that they really need in their everyday adult life. I’m still trying to figure out a way to design a summer course that intrigue parents and that their kids find irresistible — and make it profitable! So in the mean time I’m trying a similar concept with this blog.
You can find methods and tactics everywhere on the internet today. I am not interested in parroting or preaching at you. I want to share with you why you may do what you already do and ways that you can adjust your thinking so that your actions may automatically change. It sounds complicated to explain but its really much easier and makes for a more permanent change. Once you modify your thinking to accommodate conservative spending habits, you will find that your actions naturally follow.
I live at Lake Tahoe with my partner in life and business. We hope to move to Hawaii one of these days.
